When I had to put my two horses to sleep, I was devastated. I had spent five years caring for their laminitis (Hoof disease) and finally their pain was too much for me. When I called Sarah to tell her I was going to have to euthanize them, she opened a healing channel to make sure they knew what was going to happen, which, incidentally, they agreed to.
When the vet came on the somewhat dreaded day, she said, “Don’t get upset, they will thrash and kick some as they leave their bodies, it’s normal.” After the medicine was administered BOTH horses never made a single flinch. The vet said she was amazed at how easy it was for them and hadn’t seen it be that peaceful before.
Then each day after, Sarah updated me on exactly what each of the horses was doing on their journey on the other side and who they were with. It brought unbelievable comfort to me through one of the hardest times in my life. I hope I never have to euthanize again, but if I do, it will not be done without Sarah’s help.
