I contacted Sarah shortly after my dog Darby was diagnosed with lymphoma. My questions for Sarah centered around whether Darby wanted me to continue treatment (chemo) for her or to ‘let her go’. Darby was also having issues with lack of appetite and general malaise from the chemo. I was also doing nightly treatments (massage, essential oils) and I wanted to be sure Darby was enjoying that and if it was helping her.
Sarah ‘talked’ to Darby and called me later to discuss her findings. The most heartwarming statement Sarah said to me on that call was that – she had shown Darby the ‘other’ side and that Darby had dug her paws into the sand and showed absolutely no interest at all in crossing over and that she wanted to be here on this side with me. And that she really just wanted chicken and that I should try to keep the essential oils away from her face (and maybe use less), but that massages did feel good.
That night I made Darby chicken, and she ate like there was no tomorrow. She seemed to be brighter in spirit, happier and in a good mood if that makes sense! Darby went on to live another year after that ‘talk’ with Sarah. After Darby had crossed over, I contacted Sarah again to have her check in on Darby, and I was happy to hear that she had lots of little animals and angels around her and that she was just fine! The little animals made lots of sense because Darby loved the bunnies and lizards that were around our house!
One of these days there will be another dog in the house, and I will definitely take you up on more readings!
